Overview of the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Sales Compensation Manager to join growing ParkMobile sales operations team on our mission to make cities more livable. The Senior Sales Compensation Manager will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing sales compensation programs that align with the company’s strategic goals. This individual will ensure that the compensation plans are competitive, equitable, and motivate our sales team to achieve their targets.
What You'll Do:
1. Design and Implementation:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales compensation plans that align with business objectives and “perform” by driving strong seller motivation and results inline with budget .
- Ensure compensation plans are competitive and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Run yearly compensation planning process for all sales functions.
- Collaborate with senior management to align compensation strategies with business goals.
2. Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct regular analysis of compensation data to ensure plans are effective and competitive.
- Monitor sales performance and ensure that compensation aligns with results.
- Prepare and present reports on sales compensation metrics and trends to senior leadership.
3. Plan Administration:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of sales compensation plans.
- Ensure timely and accurate calculation and payment of sales commissions and bonuses.
- Identify areas of opportunity or improvement and provide solutions to resolve
- Address and resolve compensation-related issues and queries from the sales team.
4. Compliance and Best Practices:
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting sales compensation.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Implement best practices in sales compensation design and administration.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and Sales Operations teams to ensure alignment and integration of compensation strategies.
- Provide guidance and training to sales managers and team members on compensation plans and processes.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree with a business focus.
- 8-10 years as a compensation manager/senior manager or similar role
- 5+ years of compensation plan design
- 5+ years in Sales Operations
- 5+ years of working across multiple compensation regions and functions
- Excellent Google Slides and PowerPoint experience
- Strong knowledge Salesforce or similar CRM
- Experience with Spiff commission software a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Pays close attention to detail.
- A team player able to work effectively with a range of personalities across different departments.
- Multi-tasker with excellent project management skills and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
