The Vertical Sales Manager role is paramount to the success of the ParkMobile event business. The Vertical Sales Manager role is specific for someone with good communication skills, ability to close new business, and ability to work well with others. Overview: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team. This role involves a grassroots effort to grow the event vertical, specifically hunting and securing smaller venues. The focus will be on pipeline backfill, setting appointments, and quickly getting up to speed on our products. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of Tech to effectively communicate our offerings and solutions

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute grassroots strategies to expand the event vertical

• Work on pipeline backfill, ensuring a steady flow of leads and opportunities

• Set appointments with potential clients to discuss and promote our offerings

• Will Target Small & large venues within the US & Canada

• Create and execute demos and presentations to captivate new customers

• Make personal contacts within the current customer base and build strong corporate relationships

• Research the latest in the venue industry to look for new opportunities

• Attend industry trade shows and conferences to enhance business knowledge

• Maintain accurate records of all activities, including lead generation, appointments, and follow-ups

• Prepare proposals

• Reports to the National Sales Manager for Venues.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of event sales experience, preferred.

• At least 1 year of parking industry experience, preferred.

• Successful track record of exceeding annual quota.

• Experience in prospecting and cold calling.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Proficient with MS Outlook, Slack, Zoom, Google Hangout, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SalesForce.

• Highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic relationship seller.
